Success at our Internet Addiction Treatment Kansas Teens Count On

There are six phases that your child will go through at our internet addiction treatment. The first is a technology detox, which focuses less on teaching and more on fun. The next phase is education and this is where the children will learn more about the negative effects of too much “screen time.”

The third phase focuses on skill building. Many of the children with gaming and internet addiction have impaired social and recreational skills. Through numerous activities, we accomplish an increased skillset in these areas.

The fourth phase is insight and coping skills. In this phase, we utilize many interventions to help campers think about their behaviors and how to make better decisions.

The fifth phase, technology re-introduction, involves monitoring campers’ usage of their devices. We know abstinence from technology is not feasible in the world we live in today, so incorporating technology in a healthy manner is key.

The sixth phase deals with a positive home transition. Family workshops are offered in order to help parents with this phase as well.
